Order

From thoughts to numbers
Behind life it lumbers
Mere theory in math and science
Dreams of the machine's clients
The effect always desired
And so rarely acquired
Possessing but one great enemy
That calls itself entropy

Alas, entropy can never wield
Success, Pandora's box resealed
A feeling of enlightenment
Accompanied by incessant excitement

Present, suffocating dejection
Failure seen through my reflection
A lost cause, all life is spent
Unattainable as years came and went
